This quilted cape is a pull-on: no opening at the front, a padded funnel collar and a half-zip that runs down to mid-chest. The cut is very wide, poncho-style, and the shoulders extend into short sleeves that stop at the elbow. The whole body is quilted in vertical waves, an onion-shaped pattern that gives relief to the matte fabric. Two popper-flap pockets sit diagonally on the hips and a row of poppers runs under each sleeve to close the sides. A sleeveless puffer gilet in Khaki or Black.
Over an ecru roll neck and ecru straight jeans, collar closed to the chin, it warms the torso without restricting the arms; with the half-zip open, the collar falls into two soft lapels over the knit. Open, the side poppers free up movement; closed, they slim the silhouette. This is the oversized puffer gilet for the mid-season, to wear over a fine knit or a shirt, with chocolate faux-suede ankle boots.
